Samajwadi Party (SP) national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav has taken decisive steps to enforce discipline and unity within the party, announcing the dissolution of all frontal units in Badaun, including youth, student, women, and Lohia committees. Only the district president remains in position to coordinate activities.
During his two-day visit to Badaun, Shivpal inaugurated a hotel and community hall at Dahgawan crossing in Sahaswan. The event witnessed the presence of SP MP Aditya Yadav and Sahaswan MLA Brijesh Yadav, along with enthusiastic local party workers. Shivpal clarified that the decision to dissolve the frontal units was made two days prior in consultation with the SP state headquarters, emphasizing zero tolerance for internal factionalism.
Addressing the gathering, Shivpal sharply criticized the BJP government, accusing it of favouring contractors from Gujarat and mishandling development projects. He highlighted ongoing challenges like inflation, unemployment, and corruption, and asserted that the Samajwadi Party remains the only party capable of delivering relief and solutions to the people.
MP Aditya Yadav urged party workers to set aside internal conflicts and focus on collective action. “Elections cannot be fought in isolation. Unity is our greatest strength. If we stay together, the SP flag will soar in every assembly constituency,” he said, urging party members to uphold the public trust and support gained during the Lok Sabha elections.
