The internal conflict within the Aam Aadmi Party has escalated further as Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bhardwaj launched a strong and direct attack on party MP Raghav Chadha following his claims of being “silenced” by the party.

In a sharply worded video message titled “Joh darr gaya, samjho marr gaya,” Bhardwaj questioned Chadha’s political stand and accused him of avoiding key national issues. He said that AAP leaders are “soldiers” of party chief Arvind Kejriwal and must remain fearless while speaking against the government.

Taking a dig at Chadha’s parliamentary speeches, Bhardwaj remarked that limited speaking time in Parliament should be used to raise major national concerns rather than “soft issues,” indirectly referring to Chadha’s speech on food prices at airports. He stressed that serious matters affecting the country should take priority.

Bhardwaj further alleged that Chadha has consistently avoided taking a strong stand against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. He claimed that Chadha did not raise issues related to the arrest of AAP workers in Gujarat and failed to support opposition actions, including signing an impeachment motion and participating in walkouts in Parliament.

He also accused Chadha of remaining silent during critical moments for the party, including when Arvind Kejriwal faced legal troubles. Bhardwaj suggested that Chadha needs to reflect on his political journey and questioned whether his current approach aligns with the party’s core ideology.

The remarks come amid an ongoing rift within AAP that began after Chadha was removed as Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. While Chadha has positioned himself as a leader raising public issues, the party leadership has countered by questioning his consistency and commitment to key political battles.
