Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a fierce attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), directly accusing them of winning elections through vote theft. Speaking at a public gathering during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Gandhi alleged that children themselves are whispering to him about how “Narendra Modi steals votes.”
In his sharpest remarks yet, Rahul Gandhi said: “You have put all your strength into this journey. Small children are coming and saying in my ear that Narendra Modi steals votes. In Karnataka, we have shown with proof that the BJP has stolen votes. Before that, I never said that the BJP and the Election Commission are stealing votes. Till now, I have only given proof of Karnataka. In the coming time, I will also give proof of the Lok Sabha elections and the Haryana elections. We will prove that BJP and RSS win elections by stealing votes.”
Rahul Gandhi’s direct charge marks a significant escalation in the Congress’s rhetoric, as he not only targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi but also questioned the role of the Election Commission. His remarks drew loud cheers from supporters gathered in Sitamarhi, many of whom raised slogans in his favor.
