In a dramatic turn of events early Saturday morning, the under-construction central office of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Tadepalli, Guntur district, was demolished, sparking accusations of vendetta politics by party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy against the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP state government.

The demolition took place despite the YSRCP approaching the High Court the previous day and obtaining an order to halt any demolition activities by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (AP CRDA). According to YSRCP officials, the CRDA, disregarding the court's directive, proceeded with the demolition using excavators and bulldozers.

Expressing his dismay on social media platform X, Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the demolition as an act of political vendetta. "Chandrababu took vendetta politics to the next level. Like a dictator, he got YSRCP's central office demolished," he stated, highlighting the advanced stage of construction of the office.

The YSRCP asserted that the CRDA's actions amounted to contempt of court, as conveyed by their legal counsel to the CRDA commissioner. Reddy criticized the NDA state government, comprising TDP, BJP, and Janasena, alleging a collapse of law and justice in Andhra Pradesh under their administration.

"This demolition indicates how Naidu's governance will be over the next five years," Reddy remarked, pledging that the YSRCP would not succumb to intimidation tactics. He assured supporters that the party would continue to fight for the welfare and rights of the people despite facing political hurdles.
