In a statement that has raised political eyebrows, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has questioned the timing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur, marking his first visit in ten years. Speaking to the media, Raut remarked, "The Prime Minister, for the first time in ten years, visits RSS Nagpur. There must be some significance of this visit."
Raut, known for his sharp political commentary, continued, "The PM had made a rule that anyone attaining the age of 75 would not hold any government position. This rule was applied to many. The PM will definitely have to follow this rule, and this was talked about at RSS headquarters."

The comments come amidst speculations surrounding internal discussions within the RSS, with Raut suggesting that the visit may have been a platform for significant political deliberations, including the upcoming elections for the BJP President. The visit, marking a rare moment of the Prime Minister's direct engagement with the RSS leadership, has already set the stage for a fresh round of political debates.
Raut's remarks also bring into question the broader political implications of the Prime Minister's future leadership roles and whether his commitment to his own age-limit rule will be tested by his extended tenure.
