Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has made serious allegations against the BJP, claiming that the party is deliberately postponing elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand to destabilize the state governments. Speaking to the media, Raut accused the BJP of using the delay to remove Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren from power and create instability in the state. He suggested that the BJP is resorting to these tactics out of fear of losing in both states.
Raut pointed out that the Election Commission is under immense pressure, claiming it is working against the Constitution to serve the BJP's agenda. He also referenced a recent meeting involving Jharkhand Minister Champai Soren, indicating that the political strategy is clear. Raut further alleged that the BJP plans to "buy votes" in Maharashtra through the 'Ladla Bhai' scheme, aiming to secure a victory in the upcoming elections.
Raut's statements have sparked controversy, as they highlight concerns over the potential misuse of power to influence electoral outcomes. The accusations come at a time when the political climate in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand is highly charged, with all parties preparing for the upcoming elections.
