Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has voiced concerns over irregularities in the voter list, demanding a discussion on the issue in Parliament. Speaking to the media, Gandhi stated, "Questions are being raised across the country on the voter's list. In every opposition-ruled state, questions are raised on the voter's list. The entire opposition is just saying that there should be a discussion on the voter's list."
The Congress leader’s remarks come amid increasing scrutiny of electoral rolls, with opposition parties alleging discrepancies and irregularities. Various opposition leaders have previously accused the Election Commission of failing to address concerns related to bogus voters, deletions, and manipulations in the electoral rolls.
