Congress MPs, led by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, staged a protest in the Parliament House complex on Wednesday, demanding urgent action to protect coastal and forest-bordering communities in Kerala.
Expressing deep concern over the rising human-wildlife conflict in Wayanad, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra highlighted the severity of the situation. "Seven people have been killed by wildlife animals in Wayanad. It is a very worrisome situation. The central government and state government must allocate funds to mitigate this problem. I hope to raise this issue today," she said.
