Amidst ongoing issues with Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) finds itself embroiled in yet another controversy just ahead of the Punjab Lok Sabha elections. On Monday, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga made serious allegations against Punjab AAP Minister Balkar Singh, accusing him of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a female job seeker during a video call.

Bagga, who is the National Secretary of BJYM, shared footage of the incident on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He claimed that a 21-year-old woman approached Balkar Singh for a job. Singh, who is the local bodies minister and Kartarpur Sahib MLA, allegedly took her number and later asked her to undress on a video call if she wanted a job opportunity. Bagga alleged that Singh himself engaged in explicit acts during the call, including exposing his private parts.

The allegations come just five days before Punjab is set to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Bagga shared the edited footage, stating that the full video was too obscene and vulgar to post publicly. He demanded that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expel Balkar Singh within 24 hours.

"Sack Balkar Singh within 24 hours or else you will have to face angry consequences of people in the upcoming Punjab elections," Bagga warned.

This scandal adds to AAP's troubles following the recent assault case involving AAP MP Swati Maliwal, which has already caused significant damage to the party's reputation.
