Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened the first meeting of his new Cabinet on Monday evening. The newly-inducted ministers gathered at the Prime Minister's residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, around 5 pm, a day after their swearing-in ceremony.

Despite the absence of announced portfolios for the new ministers, PM Modi utilized the occasion to highlight his commitment to the nation's development. He emphasized that every moment of his life is dedicated to the country's progress, advocating for value addition in achieving goals and asserting that his office should serve the people, not just him.

In his inaugural address to the PMO officials after beginning his third term, PM Modi stressed the importance of determination and hard work in achieving targets.

"Ten years ago, the PMO was seen as a major power center. I was not born for power and do not seek it. Since 2014, we have tried to develop the PMO as a catalytic agent, not a power center," he stated. "Our goal is to generate new energy that illuminates the entire system. The PMO should be the people's PMO, not Modi's PMO," he added.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed his dedication to the welfare of 140 crore citizens, viewing them as a manifestation of the Almighty. "When I make decisions, I believe it is an act of worship towards my 140 crore countrymen," he said.

PM Modi also underscored the goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. "Together, we have one goal: Nation First; one intention: 2047 Viksit Bharat. I have committed to the nation - 24/7 for 2047. I expect my team to strive for value addition and timely task completion. With this approach, we can achieve our dreams and aspirations," he declared. "We are not limited by office hours or time constraints. Those who transcend these limits are my team, and the country has faith in this team," he added.
