This visit marks PM Modi's first overseas trip since his re-election for a third term. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, following up on key issues discussed during India's G20 presidency.
The Ukraine conflict is anticipated to be a major topic at the summit, with India advocating for resolution through dialogue and diplomacy. India has emphasized the importance of addressing how the conflict impacts the priorities and interests of developing countries.
PM Modi is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other world leaders, including President Biden and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, to review and strengthen bilateral ties.
