Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Now Dubbed 'Maha Vibhajan Aghadi' By Shehzad Poonawalla

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla launched a scathing attack on the INDI alliance, terming it an alliance formed out of convenience rather than conviction. In a recent statement, Poonawalla described the alliance as lacking leadership, policy, and intention, highlighting the cracks within its structure.

Poonawalla remarked, ?The INDI alliance was an alliance based on the situation. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has now become 'Maha Vibhajan Aghadi' (Grand Division Alliance)." He pointed to recent developments to back his claims, emphasizing the fissures among key alliance members.

He noted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress have parted ways in Delhi, raising questions about their cooperation at the national level. Similarly, he pointed out that in Bengal, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress were not on the same page. "In Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party refused to allocate seats to Congress. During the Delhi Assembly elections, SP, TMC, and others supported AAP. This clearly shows that the INDI alliance came together for a photo-op but lacks a common leader, cohesive policy, or shared intent," he added.

The BJP leader?s remarks reflect his party?s consistent criticism of the opposition coalition, which was formed to present a united front against the BJP in the upcoming elections. However, with internal disagreements and public spats among its constituents, the alliance has faced questions about its stability and effectiveness.

Poonawalla?s statement has reignited the debate over the viability of the INDI alliance. Political analysts believe that while the opposition?s unity was seen as a potential challenge to the BJP, the ongoing discord could weaken its impact.
