Political tensions in Bihar are once again heating up ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, as LJP (Ram Vilas) MP Arun Bharti launched a direct attack on Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, questioning both his ideological depth and educational background.
In a sharp critique delivered during a public interaction in Patna, Arun Bharti accused Tejashwi Yadav of lacking the vision necessary to steer Bihar into a modern, progressive era. "Education and ideology matter a lot here," Bharti asserted. "Due to Tejashwi ji's limited education and limited ideology, he does not talk about the development of Bihar."
Bharti's remarks appear to reflect growing unease among NDA leaders over what they describe as a return to outdated political narratives under the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). “His over-enthusiastic workers talk about ‘Jungle Raj Part 2’ and slogans that have no relevance in today’s time,” he said, referring to the infamous period of RJD rule in the 1990s and early 2000s, often criticized for lawlessness and poor governance.
Highlighting India’s broader developmental strides under the current government, Bharti emphasized that the 21st century demands leadership grounded in policy, planning, and progress. "The country is moving forward with hard work, and there is serious effort underway to ensure Bihar’s contribution to a developed India," he added.
The LJP (Ram Vilas) MP went a step further, raising a pointed question about Tejashwi Yadav's commitment to internal party reform. “He will have to clarify whether his talks of reforming RJD were truly a roadmap for change, or if he intends to revive the old pattern that Bihar has already moved past.”
