The Mangalhat Police in Hyderabad have issued a stern notice to BJP MLA Thakur Raja Singh, cautioning him against ignoring state-mandated security protocols, especially during his visits to communally sensitive areas.
The formal warning, dated June 1, comes in light of Singh's repeated solo visits to high-risk localities despite receiving frequent threats to his life. Singh, who represents the Goshamahal constituency, has reportedly been bypassing the use of his bulletproof vehicle and designated security team.
"Once again, you are requested to protect yourself by using a bulletproof vehicle and inevitably utilize the (1+4) security personnel allotted by the Government," the police notice reads.
The document emphasized that Singh’s actions—particularly his habit of venturing alone into sensitive zones—amount to negligence toward his personal safety.
"It is to once again alert that you have been receiving frequent threatening calls and it is noticed that you are often leaving the residence and office without any security personnel and moving in highly communal-sensitive areas... which shows negligence towards your life and safety," the notice warned.
On May 31, Singh allegedly visited several flagged locations, including Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, Injanboli, Baba Nagar, Bahadurpura, Santosh Nagar, Yakutpura, Golkonda, and Jirra, all between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. These areas have been identified by law enforcement as communally volatile and prone to flare-ups.
The notice has also been forwarded to the Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police for monitoring and potential administrative action.
