Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi visited a large-scale blood donation camp organized ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, which is celebrated tomorrow.
Speaking at the event, Sanghvi said, “On the occasion of PM Modi's birthday and because of the grand success of Operation Sindoor, all the employees of the state government gathered together to organise a massive blood donation drive. Within the first hour and a half, over 7,000 people had already donated blood. The collected blood will be sent to Gujarat and neighbouring states to help thousands of people.”
The drive, aimed at promoting public service and social responsibility, witnessed participation from government employees, volunteers, and citizens across the state. Officials confirmed that the collected blood units would be distributed to hospitals and medical facilities in Gujarat and adjoining regions, benefiting thousands in need.
