“Ghayal Hoon, Ghatak Hoon”: Raghav Chadha Fires Back At AAP In Explosive Video

A fresh political controversy has erupted within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as its Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha issued a strong rebuttal to allegations made against him by party leaders. Days after being removed as Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, Chadha released a new video defending his record and accusing his own party of orchestrating a targeted campaign to damage his image.

In a dramatic tone, Chadha invoked a popular dialogue from the Dhurandhar, saying, “Ghayal hoon, isliye ghatak hoon,” signaling that he would not back down amid the ongoing controversy. He claimed that since the past day, multiple leaders have been repeating identical accusations against him, suggesting a coordinated and scripted attack rather than isolated criticism.

Chadha addressed three major allegations raised against him. On the claim that he failed to join opposition walkouts in Parliament, he strongly denied the charge, calling it a “white lie.” He challenged critics to verify CCTV footage from Parliament, asserting that there is no instance where he did not stand with the opposition during such protests.

Responding to the second allegation regarding his refusal to sign a petition seeking action against the Chief Election Commissioner, Chadha said no official or informal instruction was ever given to him by the party. He further pointed out that several other AAP MPs also did not sign the petition, questioning why he alone was being singled out and turned into a controversy.

On the third accusation that he was raising “soft issues” and avoiding aggressive political confrontation, Chadha defended his approach, stating that his role in Parliament is not to create chaos but to highlight real public concerns. He listed issues such as GST, income tax, Punjab’s water crisis, Delhi’s air pollution, education, healthcare, railway passenger problems, and menstrual health as topics he has consistently raised over the years.

He emphasized that his parliamentary record over the past four years reflects his commitment to meaningful debates rather than disruption. According to Chadha, he entered politics to make an impact and represent taxpayers’ concerns, not to engage in shouting matches or symbolic protests.

Concluding his statement, Chadha warned that the truth behind the allegations would soon come out and reiterated his defiant stance using the same film dialogue. His remarks have further intensified speculation about internal divisions within AAP, putting the party leadership under pressure to clarify its position on the growing controversy.
