Ramesh, along with fellow Congress leaders Pawan Khera and others, alleged that the outdated data could be influencing the election process, insinuating that the BJP might be benefiting from these delays. BJP's Dr. Krishan Lal Middha secured the Jind seat, defeating Congress candidate Mahavir Gupta by a significant margin of 15,860 votes.
