Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday expressed his deep sorrow and condemnation over the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking on the tragic incident, he stated, "It is a very tragic incident and deserves the strongest condemnation. Tourists faced a terrible crisis, and families lost their loved ones."

Yadav further highlighted the importance of swift and effective government measures, adding, "The government has assured that concrete steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future." He expressed hope that these measures would lead to decisive action against the perpetrators of terrorism.

He stressed that the attack targeted not just the people but also the unity, brotherhood, and image of India. "We hope these measures lead to firm action against the enemies of India, those who threaten humanity, hinder our nation's progress, and aim to damage our unity, brotherhood, and image," Yadav said.
