The Delhi Assembly witnessed high drama as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs staged a protest inside the House, alleging that pictures of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh had been removed from the Chief Minister’s office.
Leader of Opposition (LoP) Atishi led the charge, accusing the BJP-led government of disrespecting national icons. The protest quickly escalated, disrupting proceedings and forcing Speaker Vijender Gupta to intervene.

Reacting sharply to the ruckus, Speaker Gupta rebuked the opposition, stating, "It was a courtesy address. You should not have made it a political platform. The opposition does not want the House to run smoothly. AAP has come with the intention of disrupting the House. Maintain the dignity of the House."
Despite the Speaker’s warnings, the uproar continued, leading to an adjournment of the House for 15 minutes.
