Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA candidate from the Jangpura constituency, Manish Sisodia, addressed the public in a spirited campaign rally today, drawing a sharp contrast between AAP's governance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sisodia, who has been a key figure in Delhi's education reforms, emphasized the importance of electing educated and honest leaders for the betterment of society.
"On one side, there is politics for education and working for the public, and on the other side, there is politics of loot," Sisodia said, urging voters to make an informed choice. He criticized the BJP for resorting to what he called "gali-galoch" (abuse and foul language) instead of focusing on development and public welfare.
"BJP does 'gali-galoch,' but Kejriwal is the one who does the work," Sisodia asserted, highlighting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's track record of delivering on promises such as improving schools, healthcare, and infrastructure in Delhi. He accused the BJP of attempting to win elections through "gundagardi" (hooliganism) rather than earning the trust of the people.
Sisodia expressed confidence in AAP's victory, stating, "BJP knows it is going to lose the elections. We will form the government with a comfortable majority." He called on the people of Jangpura to support AAP's vision of a corruption-free and progressive Delhi.
