Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday welcomed the strong showing of the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance in the municipal corporation elections held across Maharashtra, calling the outcome a reflection of public confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister thanked the people of Maharashtra for their support and said the results showed approval for the NDA’s governance model and development-focused approach. He said the mandate would further strengthen efforts aimed at improving infrastructure, public services and overall growth in the state.
