PM Modi In Saharsa: 'NDA Stands For Development, RJD–Congress For Destruction — Bihar’s Women And Youth Must Guard Against Jungle Raj'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a massive rally in Saharsa on Monday, launched a scathing attack on the RJD–Congress alliance, urging the women and youth of Bihar to remain vigilant against what he called the return of “Jungle Raj.” With just days to go before the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, PM Modi’s message centered on development, empowerment, and the NDA’s commitment to progress.

“NDA ki pehchan vikas se hai, aur RJD aur Congress ki pehchan vinash hai,” declared the Prime Minister, as the crowd roared in approval. He appealed especially to the women of Bihar, saying, “Every sister and daughter of Bihar must stay alert. These Jungle Raj forces want to snatch away every opportunity and support meant for you.”

In a personal moment, PM Modi addressed first-time voters, drawing from his own experience:
“When I voted for the first time, I made sure my vote wasn’t wasted — I voted for a wave that would form a government. On November 6, when Bihar votes, many young sons and daughters will cast their first votes. I urge you — let your first vote be for a government that delivers development. Your vote will strengthen NDA’s Bihar.”

PM Modi also revisited the state’s long struggle with stalled infrastructure during the RJD–Congress years. Highlighting the Kosi Rail Mahasetu, he reminded the audience that the project was initiated by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2003 but was delayed for nearly two decades.
“When the Congress government came to power in Delhi with RJD’s support, they took revenge on Bihar. They froze funds and blocked every project meant for the people’s welfare. Only after the NDA returned to power in 2014 did these projects move forward,” Modi said, accusing the opposition of deliberately neglecting Bihar’s growth.

He also credited Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership and the NDA’s governance for turning Bihar around, contrasting it with the “corruption, chaos, and crime” of the earlier RJD era.

With Bihar heading to polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, and results to be declared on November 14, PM Modi’s rally has set the tone for a high-octane final stretch in the campaign — one centered on the NDA’s promise of stability versus the Mahagathbandhan’s past record of turmoil.
