Modi 3.0: Key Ministers Likely To Take Oath This Evening

Varanasi MP Narendra Modi will be sworn in for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India today at 7:15 PM at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The historic event will see a new Council of Ministers taking their oaths, with media reports suggesting that 30 MPs are expected to join the Modi Cabinet 3.0.

Amidst the speculation, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) confirmed on Sunday that its two newly elected MPs will be part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Former TDP MP Jayadev Galla congratulated Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani on social media for their confirmation as cabinet ministers.

Sources indicate that three leaders from Karnataka will be sworn in as ministers today. One confirmed name is Former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy. The names of the other two leaders are yet to be disclosed.

Reports suggest that ministerial positions may be awarded to Lalan Singh, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Ram Nath Thakur, Sunil Kumar, and Kaushalendra Kumar from the JD(U).

Other alliance partners likely to receive cabinet positions include Chirag Paswan, Anupriya Patel (Apna Dal Party Chief), Jayant Chaudhary (Rashtriya Lok Dal Chief), and Jitan Ram Manjhi (Hindustani Awam Morcha Chief).

Several BJP leaders are also expected to be appointed as ministers. These include Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, DK Aruna, D Arvind, Basavaraj Bommai, Biplab Dev, Suresh Gopi, Piyush Goyal, Prataprao Jadhav, Sanjay Jaiswal, Pralhad Joshi, Govind Karjol, PC Mohan, Bijuli Kalita Medhi, Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitin Prasad, Daggubati Purandeswari, Nityanand Rai, Eatala Rajender, Kishan Reddy, Kiren Rijiju, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Manmohan Samal, Bandi Sanjay, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Dushyant Singh, Jitendra Singh, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Shantanu Thakur.

Before the swearing-in ceremony, Narendra Modi will meet with the new Council of Ministers at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Arrangements at Rashtrapati Bhavan are finalized, with guests expected to start arriving from 5 PM onwards. The ceremony is set to commence at 7:15 PM.
