Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday announced a massive ₹31,628 crore relief package for farmers affected by recent floods in the state. Speaking to the media, CM Fadnavis highlighted that the government is providing an additional compensation of ₹10,000 per hectare for sowing Rabi crops.
Fadnavis said, “It is our effort to ensure that our farmers can stand on their own feet again,” emphasizing the state government’s commitment to supporting agricultural communities during challenging times. The package aims to expedite financial assistance to flood-hit farmers and facilitate swift recovery of the agricultural sector.
