Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal triggered a major buzz across social media after publicly recommending the newly released web series Maharani 4 on SonyLIV. His post, which described the show as an unfiltered portrayal of the political system, quickly became a talking point among supporters, critics and meme-makers alike.

Kejriwal took to his official social media handle to share a blunt and striking remark. He wrote, “You must watch Maharani 4 webseries on @SonyLIV. It depicts the ugly reality of today’s politics. Kudos to the entire team for showing courage.” His endorsement immediately drew thousands of reactions, sparking a heated debate on how closely fiction mirrors governance and political behaviour in India.

While several users agreed that Maharani 4 exposes corruption, power games and manipulation inherent within the political landscape, a wave of social media users also used the opportunity to target Kejriwal. Memes, sarcastic comments and video clips from the show flooded timelines as netizens took aim at both the politician and the AAP government.
